Free City arrived at the Sunset Plains.

The sight of the Floating City lifted morale beyond measure. Even hovering there without doing a thing, it was enough to bring tears to the eyes of those who had heard its stories.

An uprising swept the Sunset Plains.

People from every corner of the Kingdom had gathered here, each carrying their own faith, hatred, and convictions. Along the way, they had witnessed countless cruelties: couples forced to sell their children; couples who, unable to go on, chose to kill each other and died with their bones still intertwined; a maid abused by her master, then flayed after her attempt to kill him failed; a poor man who offered his wife to a gang leader just to buy a few more days to repay a debt...

Now, at last, someone stood with them and told them they had not been born to suffer. Someone told them to fight for themselves...

And so, before towering walls, against well-equipped knights, beneath merciless volleys of arrows and even the dazzling spells of mages, they charged without fear of death. They dreamed of standing in the sunlight, free from the oppression of nobles, able to hold their heads high. If they died, perhaps no one else would have to endure what they had. All they wanted was to open the gates for the Blade of Freedom outside.

A reporter from Rikaner Glory watched these common folk display courage worthy of elite troops. Again and again they fell and scattered, yet they refused to give up and rallied anew. When the men were gone, the women took their place. When the women were gone, the old and the children stepped forward. Children raised colorful Battle Banners sewn from scraps of cloth and stumbled toward the soldiers...
