Gira rattled off a long list of names, like a child who had come home to complain after being bullied.
Olmedo, who had been listening, sent The Faction to fetch the elite members of the Blade of Freedom. They knew best how to deal with nobles.
The war was over, but the Blade of Freedom had not been disbanded. Olmedo kept its structure intact and let it develop freely, much like the Street Sweepers.
Soon, Little Smo led Deck and another man inside. The moment Deck saw him, he exclaimed, "Berst?"

"She spends every day at the Pantheon, praying to the Maiden of Misfortune."
The Misfortune Church was hated everywhere. It was rare for Louise to find a Divine Temple with a statue of her goddess... even if the place was rather heretical.
Annan thought for a moment. "Louise holds a high position, but she lacks care and affection. You could send people to look after her more often."
"Why don't you go yourself?"
"I have too much to do." Under Olmedo's disdainful gaze, Annan declared with perfect confidence, "I think I'm about to advance."
