"Length?"

"Ahem, I meant height."

The Deputy Chief Judge nodded. "All right. Focus."

Annan closed his eyes and cooperated, imagining what he would look like as an Incubus, using Beludona as his model.

Gradually, his body grew hot. His forehead, cheeks, back, and feet itched especially badly, as though something were growing out of them.

"Done."

The heat and itching faded. At the Deputy Chief Judge's words, Annan opened his eyes.

"Make a water mirror," Annan said. When nothing happened, he looked at Gandhi and said it again.

"Why am I a Succubus?!"

Annan took another careful look, including at the markings on his abdomen, and confirmed that his features matched Elena's species exactly.

The Deputy Chief Judge raised his eyes. "Didn't you say Succubus? I must have misheard."

Seeing the Deputy Chief Judge's expression of utter innocence, Annan suddenly felt like betraying the Chaos Cult for real.

"This is prejudice!"

He was the Lord of Free City, a man who had won the world over through sheer personal charm. How had he ended up a Succubus
