Annan deliberately jumped in front of the Six-Armed Snake Demon and pressed himself against her.
Every other personal guard dropped to the ground.
"Biross, have I come at a bad time?" The figure looked at the Six-Armed Snake Demon, who had a succubus nestled against her, with a half-smile.
Biross caught Annan with several arms and held him at a distance. "Lady Lilith."
"Rising star, perhaps I should leave you with Biross as her deputy?" The apparition of the Succubus Queen was smiling, but Annan sensed a trace of malice beneath it. He felt that something unfortunate would happen if he agreed.
Annan's face turned resolute, like a Holy Knight's. "Great Succubus Queen, beautiful Commander, I want to share your burdens. Let me go to the Stuen Clan!"
Having given Annan a small warning, the Succubus Queen's apparition gradually faded. Only her soft laughter lingered. "Very good. I look forward to seeing what you do..."
