Annan lowered his head and opened the file again. After a few quick glances, he was engrossed. At one particular detail, his head snapped up.
"That Mad Girl is a Saint?"
"Yes."
"How... interesting."
A few days ago, Annan would have loudly protested that the competition was unfair. But now? Free City had Saints too, and two of them at that.
Little Spider and Silly Cat might not look particularly clever, but two against one? The advantage was his!

Olmedo was both pleased and worried. "But Spider Queen Lolth is the most evil deity across countless Planes. Now that she's regained her power..."

Olmedo wasn't sure either. After a pause, she said, "Those she's hurt, I suppose..."
