The old, rusted city gates slowly opened, and hundreds of heavy cavalrymen poured through. Under the awed gazes of passersby, they formed ranks outside the city, kicking up clouds of dust.

Had Annan and Olmedo been there, they would have recognized the knight from the Royal Capital who had brought the wanted notice. He stood beside the cavalry officer.

Their lances gleamed, their horses wore armor, and their own armor was scored with scratches. Their spirit was fearless.

The bearded cavalry officer, whose dark-gold armor bore a Lion, raised his lance. "Our mission is to attack Star-Moon Bay and capture the rebel King of the North! Let the Royal Capital witness our courage! For Montreal! Loyalty!"

"Loyalty!"

"Move out!"

The Loyal Heavy Cavalry set off on their long ride, leaving a cloud of dust across the road. People entering the city huddled along both sides, coughing as the dust reached them.

Among the column, Charles Vera looked as though he had seen a ghost. He was hauling a cart full of Magic Newspaper.
