September was harvest season on the Northern Frontier.

From Betar City to Bountiful City, from Ossulund Territory to Breeze City, every fief and village on the Kingdom's Northern Frontier began harvesting its Wheat Field. They had to hurry. In the north, tomorrow was always colder than today.

Star-Moon Bay was no exception. The eastern fields buzzed with harvest activity. The Wheat Field tended by the Druids had not ripened early, but it was free of pests, and the grains were plump. Annan had Ingrid store a batch of the finest grain so the Druids could breed better wheat after the Ratfolk crisis ended.

If the Druids came back.

But things did not always go smoothly... A terrible frost struck the farms north of Breeze City. At first, Olmedo thought it was an accident. Then the Limestone Quarry north of Star-Moon Bay reported finding enormous footprints, and Annan wondered whether the frost had something to do with the Frost Giant.

Olmedo sent the Knights' Order to investigate. They found traces of the Frost Giant north of the farms. The vengeful Giant had caused the strange weather.

Annan invited Olmedo to join forces against it, a little appetizer before the Ratfolk crisis. Whether the Frost Giant was truly responsible no longer mattered—not after the news from the Royal Capital.

"The filthy Ratfolk have punched through Far North County with their battered wooden spears and are advancing on Ilida County."

"Shit! You know the difference between the Royal Capital and the cow dung I shovel every day? There isn't one. They both make me sick!" a worker shouted, leaning against the fence. He paid no mind to the Pitchfork beside him, which stank of rotting vegetation.

Thanks to the Magic Newspaper, even the manure shovelers of Star-Moon Bay could weigh in.
