The Elven Royal Court Envoy Delegation had left.

Their arrival had barely caused a ripple. After all, a Ratfolk spent every day wandering around the port. At Annan's direction, Evelyn had tucked the delegation into the Daily News section on page three of the Voice of Freedom, where it went as unnoticed as the fourth Magic Film.

Annan continued discussing the shoot with Francois. When Orcs Come Knocking would feature plenty of city scenes, so Annan naturally chose Free City as its filming location. It might even attract tourists.

Evelyn wanted to join the crew, but Annan sent her away. The Newspaper Office needed her more.

They tentatively settled on Annan as director, with Francois and Betty as assistant directors. Since it was a drama with no need for special effects, Tina was left out too.

With preparations in place, Annan made one last trip to the Orc Mansion to talk with Brook and Dag.

Brook and Dag were so timid and uneasy that the conversation moved slowly. Annan had to take a roundabout approach to put them at ease. "Have you watched the Magic Films?"

Brook said he had. Dag nodded, as timid as a Goblin.

"Who's your favorite?"

"Lord Annan..." Brook said.

Dag nodded again, still like a timid Goblin.

"Besides me?" Annan asked gently.

Brook lowered his head and thought for a moment. "Freeman..."

Dag stopped nodding. Annan turned to him. "What about you?"

"I... um... I like Martin."

It was a surprising answer, but it made sense. Dag was a young Orc, and children could never take their eyes off someone having fun.

"Betty says you've been working hard. You can show emotions now."
