In the third-floor Living Room of the City Lord's Mansion, everyone who had heard the news gathered around Annan.
"So this is what you advanced into?" Whether out of contrariness or embarrassment, Leila added, "Hah. A sorcerer."
“That's good too. Once he gets to the Southlands, no one will have the heart to kill him,” Olmedo said with a smile.
"Looks like the final obstacle to going south has been cleared," Ingrid agreed.
"Should we throw an amazing apple pie party?" Martin asked.
"We filmed The Mage Tower's Fall too early. If we filmed it now, ladies and noblewomen wouldn't be the only ones screaming in the theater." Faster shook his head and sighed.
"Bring back money, but don't bring back a child," Francois said deliberately.
They each took a turn teasing him.
Annan slapped the table in annoyance. "Is this how you treat your own City Lord!?"
He frightened no one. The Living Room was full of laughter.
"This has nothing to do with me. I just advanced normally..."
"Of course. Nothing to do with you," Idelia said, deliberately humoring him.
"Really, I... I think my innate talent gave me a spell." Annan had suddenly discovered a piece of knowledge deep in his mind.
"What kind of spell?"
"I don't know yet. Let's go somewhere else."
This was no place to test a spell.
They left the City Lord's Mansion for the Northern Farmland. The greenhouses there had been built, and vegetables were growing inside them.
