"I've never heard of anyone making demands of the Examiner... Have you, Xiao Bing?"
Jiang Xueyao spoke.
She was trying to give him a hint.
He couldn't keep acting like this—
What if he failed?
People would laugh at him.
"Neither have I," Yang Xiaobing said.
"Does he have some kind of plan? If not, shouldn't we play it safe?" Jiang Xueyao kept her voice loud enough for Xu Yuan to hear.
"He must have something in mind. At a time like this, we should support him," Yang Xiaobing whispered.
"What if he's wrong?" Jiang Xueyao asked.
"So what if he is? He won't die. What matters is that he knows we support him," Yang Xiaobing said softly.
Jiang Xueyao was about to speak again, but she paused and lowered her head.
"You're wonderful, Xiao Bing."
She said it softly.
Outside.
The many Examiners, high-ranking officials of the Imperial Court, and members of the Demon Race delegation all looked surprised.
"That brat really thinks he's somebody."
A Demon Envoy sneered.
"Have you Humans ever had an examinee like this before? If he were one of us, we'd drag him out of the examination hall and teach him a hard lesson," another Demon Envoy said.
The Humans looked rather embarrassed.
They had agreed that everyone would share what they saw inside the Zhou Tian Instrument.
Yet one Examinee had made this demand for the second time!
People couldn't help looking toward the Supreme Ninth-Five on the raised platform.
Only he could decide what happened next!
The emperor's eyes were half closed. Then he smiled.
"Interesting."
"This child has earned my trust. I've decided to believe him this once."
"So be it."
"From now on, only I may observe what happens on his side."
"The rest of you, leave it alone."
"Yes!"
