In the Kunlun Secret Realm, Yuan Liuzi and the others turned their eyes to Dangkouzi. Thought flickered in many of their gazes; looking back on everything that had happened, they had begun to sense something.
"I believe you've all noticed it by now."
Dangkouzi did not shy away from the challenge. After a couple of modest remarks, he said, "Let's start with an assumption: the Divine Treasury truly does change in response to Human Thought. But the thoughts of its native inhabitants cannot affect it. Only those who enter from outside can alter what happens within. If so, many things become clear."
He looked at Yuan Liuzi and said bluntly, "Take Dianyunzi's journey north. He found the Divine Treasury vast, even encountered strange lands like the Yaksha Kingdom, and saw all manner of demons farther north. It seemed so much like the Mortal World that one might think the Divine Treasury rivaled it in scope! But what if the whole thing happened the other way around?"
After a pause, he raised his voice. "What if Dianyunzi believed the northern lands ought to contain a Yaksha Kingdom, ought to contain demons and monsters, even a Ten-Thousand-Mile Icefield—and so those scenes came into being in the north of the Divine Treasury?"
No one looked particularly surprised. Their expressions only grew graver.
Dangkouzi continued, "Then there's Ruan Ji. From Qingxiangzi and the others' descriptions, he also seems to have stumbled into the Divine Treasury. He was familiar enough with its factions and the balance of power to guide the four of them and help them settle in. Yet this man, supposedly so familiar with its factions, never once mentioned the Sacred Hall before suddenly producing the so-called Royal Blood Decree and Deity's Voice one day."
