Amid shattered walls and ruined buildings, three seated figures trembled faintly.
Darkness and the smell of decay filled the Seal-enclosed space.
Suddenly,
a cool breeze blew through.
The Dao Body circled the three figures, then drifted away.
A point of light appeared in the darkness.

Their three pairs of eyes were like beacons in the night, sweeping away the darkness and revealing everything it had concealed.
The buildings that had been little more than indistinct shapes came into focus—
This place appeared to be a temple complex, or perhaps a Sacrificial Altar.
Dozens of stone pillars, each thick enough for five people to encircle with their arms, stood scattered around it.
Besides the Rifts covering their surfaces, the pillars bore intricate lines and patterns that gave off an ancient, mysterious solemnity.
But most were damaged or broken. Some had been reduced to half their height, or even to their bases, barely supporting several domes that wavered between solid and illusory.

With that sharp sound, a dome suddenly gave off a faint glow, enveloping the three people at the center of the Sacrificial Altar.
