The forest that had grown on Black Skull Island for who knew how many years suffered perhaps the greatest loss in its history today.

Lush trees toppled one after another. Whether they were ancient trees with deep roots or monstrous trees infected by miasma and transformed into Demon Realm creatures, they were all the same before the Zombie Wyvern's overwhelming strength.

The only difference was whether they snapped in half or were ripped out by the roots.

Yet the Zombie Wyvern responsible for all this destruction was not happy. On the contrary, it was furious—so furious it was ready to explode.

That damned little thing with its disgusting energy kept darting around right in front of it, attacking it with that energy from time to time. The power was weak and could not harm a mighty Dragon, but its pride could not bear such provocation.

And nothing had gone smoothly as it chased the little thing. Trees, vines, and trunks that suddenly came hurtling into its path... all of it only made it angrier.

As time passed, the Zombie Wyvern's rage grew nearly impossible to control. It roared with almost every step, its movements growing wilder and wilder. It even lashed its tail about, knocking down distant trees that had never been in its way.

Pan Long saw it all, and delight rose in his heart.

He did not fear a giant beast driven mad by rage. What he feared was one that could stay calm no matter how it was provoked.
