Yet, strangely, they still were not dead. The pieces kept writhing, trying to attack Pan Long.

"What the hell are these things?" Pan Long could not help complaining. "Is there any way to destroy them for good?"

"These are all Primordial Calamities," Weimar replied. "They can't be killed."

"Damn it! Is there at least some way to keep them under control?"

"I don't know either..."

Pan Long was so angry he wanted to curse.

Pan Long's eyes lit up. With flicks of his blade, he tossed clump after clump of tentacles into the campfire. The sound of flesh sizzling in the flames rose all at once, with faint, monstrous shrieks coming
