Among them were the Demon-Slashing Heavenly Venerable, who wielded great divine power; the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, who wielded intermediate divine power; Lord Guan, the Sacred Sovereign, who wielded lesser divine power; Yulei and Shentu, who wielded minor divine power; and the Six Ding and Six Jia, who were demigods.]

[To encourage those who came after them to take up the path of subduing demons, they left behind this mythic advancement.]

[Those who had completed an Eastern Mythic Path, such as True Persons, Arhats, and Grandmasters, could trigger this advancement quest while subduing demons.]

[Advancement requirements: Complete a Mythic Path (completed); reach character level 21 (14/21).]

[Quest objectives: 1. Defeat a large horde of demons in a single campaign. (Completed)]

[2. Suppress a major demon stronghold. (Completed)]

[3. Purify an entire region corrupted by demons. (Incomplete)]

[4. Slay or suppress a renowned Demon King. (Incomplete)]

[5. Be praised in song as a saint who subdues demons. (Completed)]

[After completing every advancement quest, you may perform a sacrifice to Heaven and formally advance to Demon-Subduing Celestial.]

[After advancing to Demon-Subduing Celestial, every demon-subduing feat worthy of praise will earn rewards from both the world's Order and the goodness in human nature. After receiving nine rounds of rewards, you will automatically ascend to demigodhood.]
