Especially not in a place as "blessed with outstanding people and fertile land" as the Abyssal Plane. Its resources were so abundant that failing to make full use of them would make him a fool.
Pan Long seized the time to carry out Demon-Slaying and Devil-Subduing. Before the two days were up, he had completed all nine rounds.
Not just any Demon would meet the requirements. To trigger a Demon-Slaying and Devil-Subduing reward, it had to be at least a mid-ranking Demon, if not higher. Disgraces like Manes, Quasits, and Demon-Eaters were out of the question. Even Babaus and Vrocks failed to trigger it.
The first to trigger a reward was a Succubus.
When the reward appeared, Pan Long saw a vision accompanied by narration.
The Succubus had disguised herself as a noble girl carrying a precious treasure. She had deceived a count who was driven both by righteous zeal to fight injustice and by the prospect of fame and fortune into sending an army to wipe out a band of mountain brigands.
On the road, she had bewitched the army's commander—the count's son. The young man could have done nothing at all and peacefully waited to inherit his father's position, but she had so thoroughly addled his wits that he believed her secret treasure could grant eternal youth and life. For its sake, he slaughtered a group of refugees who had fled into the mountains to evade taxes and clear land for farming. Then he returned home, murdered his parents, and sacrificed a great many residents, including his own relatives, to the Abyss.
In the end, the young man had naturally fallen into the Abyss and become a wretched Abyssal Worm. The Succubus, meanwhile, received a reward from the Abyss
