Gurgle. An enormous bubble suddenly rose from beneath the water. Before the two aboard the Torch Dragon Boat could react, it engulfed them, boat and all. The bubble shimmered faintly purple in the sunlight. Futis accidentally breathed in a mouthful of gas and was struck at once by nausea and dizziness. He grabbed the boat for support and shouted to Luo Qian, "This is bad! It's a Poison Gas Bubble from the Giant Octopus Whale Emperor! No wonder there aren't any Giant Octopus Whales around here anymore. The emperor scared them all off..."
The more he spoke, the worse the poison in his body grew. He swayed, barely able to stand. Luo Qian pulled out a detoxifying Three-Color Pill. "Take this, quick!" He put one in his own mouth as well.
