As Tang Changsheng attained Taiyi, worlds throughout the endless Star Sea resonated. One powerful deity and Chief God after another fell, and both the immortals of Eastern Glory and the Purple Dusk Demons soon noticed.

The impact on the Nine Heavens was slight. Thanks to the Qi-Refining Immortals, those in the Eastern Glory World who had reached the level of True Immortal or above were almost never affected badly enough to fall.
But the Taiyi could clearly sense the tremors in the Great Dao Secrets.
This was the rule of the Five-Turn Qi-Refining Immortal, created by Eastern Glory's assembled immortals to avoid the dangers of advancing to Taiyi.
Things were different for the Purple Dusk Demons. One great deity after another with a Divine Core of Salvation or Destruction simply fell.
Some great deities held more than one Divine Office within their Divine Cores. But if their cores involved either of those two Laws, they gritted their teeth at the critical moment and cast those Divine Offices out.
Countless deities were caught in the upheaval and suffered grievous harm.
There might not have been many deities with Divine Offices of death or Destruction.
But almost every deity held a Divine Core of Salvation.
If the Purple Dusk Palace had not held back the force, more than half the Purple Dusk Demons' deities might have fallen, or at least been gravely wounded...
