Just then, with a crash, someone shoved open the conference room door in a hurry.
A tall man strode in, thrust a thick stack of documents into Ralph's hands, and whispered a few words to him.

The projection showed an office in shambles. White papers lay scattered everywhere, mingled with dark red blood and corpses.
Someone cried out at once, "Isn't that Sally? And that's Beck!"
The others recognized them too and broke into startled shouts. "Who killed them?"
"We're finished! Six months of hard work, all for nothing!"
Everyone groaned. None of them had imagined that the three key figures of Ultimate Care they had been searching for were already dead.
"Don't worry about that yet. Look at how they died," Ralph said calmly, though there was something strange in his voice.
