♂,
In fact, if Tang Changsheng had not anticipated the enemy's moves all along the way and taken out the mines, snipers, and even the knife-wielding Esper, they could never have made it here so quickly.
Li He was halfway through speaking when someone suddenly dropped from the sky like a cannonball and landed on the roof of the military vehicle ahead.
With a thunderous crash, the entire vehicle was nearly crushed flat. It was as though an iron ball had fallen onto it, not a person.
The man crouched and sprang up again. As he lunged toward their vehicle, Li He opened fire on instinct.
But the Bullets Li He fired, along with those fired by everyone else who reacted in time, merely sent sparks flying when they struck the man.
Only then could they see clearly: the man wore a strange suit of armor. Even automatic-rifle Bullets bounced off it. He charged toward them through a hail of Bullets.
The man landed in front of their vehicle and slammed a fist into its hood. With a deafening bang, the hood caved in almost completely, and the vehicle nearly pitched forward.
Through the windshield, Li He could clearly see the savage grin on the man's face. His blood ran cold. As the man grinned and swung another punch, Li He's mind went blank.
But just as the blow was about to land, someone appeared out of nowhere beside the seemingly invulnerable Armored Man. With a casual sweep of his hand, he caught the man's fist!
"It's Mr. Tang!"
Li He's blank mind snapped back to life, and he cried out in delight.
Only then did he realize that Tang Changsheng, who had been sitting in the vehicle, had somehow gotten out and stepped in front of the Armored Man.
