He said it with pride, but a Ghost Immortal did have the standing to say such a thing.
Tang Changsheng wasted no more words. "Go!"
In the time it took to exchange those few words, the Harpies had drawn within a few hundred meters.
The fleet, meanwhile, was still more than a kilometer from the harbor.
Yu Hai had been listening to Tang Changsheng and the others. He had not understood a word and found the whole exchange utterly baffling!
Then clouds and mist poured from the three figures standing behind Tang Changsheng. Each cloud bore one of them aloft, and they rose into the sky as though riding the clouds.
Yu Hai jumped in fright. Before he had finished rubbing his eyes, the three black clouds were already flying toward the mass of Harpies.
"Cloud Riding! That's the Cloud Riding of legend! They're Immortals!" Yu Hai cried.
Ghost Immortals could just about be called Immortals, couldn't they? At the very least, they had one foot across the threshold. So Yu Hai was not entirely wrong.
In truth, though, Ghost Immortals were like Yin Spirits: still composed of Yin Substance, they could not face the Solar True Fire. They had to conceal themselves behind one thing or another before they dared fly in broad daylight.
Clouds, mist, and water vapor were the simplest and most convenient choices. That was why so many Yin Spirits and Ghost Immortals liked to fly on clouds.
A halo behind the crown is illusion in the end; clouds beneath the feet do not make an Immortal!
Those thoughts flashed through Tang Changsheng's mind. As for explaining any of it to Yu Hai, he had no interest whatsoever.
An expert saw the craft; an outsider watched the spectacle. Yu Hai was shouting "Immortals!" at random, but
