Black Dragon Bamas had barely escaped inside before he sensed a deep, evil presence saturating this part of the Shadow Plane. His draconic instincts made his scales crawl. Without a second thought, he beat his wings to flee.
But a tentacle shot out, wrapped around the Black Dragon, and dragged him back.
Just as he began praying to the Mother of Evil Dragons, a deep voice sounded.
"Why are you running?"

At the familiar voice, a thought flashed through Black Dragon Bamas's mind. To his surprise, the tentacle slowly released him. At the same time, the deep, evil presence gradually faded from the Shadow Plane.
