Boom!
In an instant, countless stars shot out of the box like fireworks, trailing thick black smoke. They punched billiard-ball-sized holes through the Shrine's Reinforced Concrete roof. Sunlight streamed through the holes onto Athena's statue, making her look extraordinarily divine.
Once the silvery-white box opened, a dark Vortex appeared inside. Countless stars gave off a faint glow, dotting the bottom of the box.
The sharper-eyed onlookers saw what was inside, and two words sprang to mind.
"The Milky Way!"

Medusa shut the box, and her figure slowly vanished before everyone's eyes.
After she disappeared, a group of soldiers rushed in with their weapons, like the police in a TV show who always arrived after everything was over.
They could hardly be blamed for arriving late. They had rushed toward the Shrine as soon as the people inside fled in panic. But it had all ended so quickly that, despite not wasting a moment on the way, they arrived after it was over.
"What happened here?"
An officer stepped forward with his weapon. He glanced at the Shrine in disarray and the human-shaped statue before Athena's likeness, and his voice grew grave.
Outside, he had heard people saying things like "the priest turned to stone." Now it seemed likely that Mystic Power was involved, and anything involving it was serious.
"It was Medusa."
Krov climbed to his feet, still shaken. "Medusa appeared in the Shrine just now. She turned the priest into a stone statue. She also took out Pandora's Box and released the disasters."
He recounted what had happened in detail, but left out his connection to Medusa. He said only that he had been praying before Athena's statue when he suddenly saw her.
Medusa? Pandora's Box? So it really was a supernatural incident.
