After returning to his Divine Kingdom, Jiang Hao relaxed. Now that he had used the Wheel of Fortune to prevent Gond Frank, the God of Craftsmen, from returning to his Divine Kingdom, the backlash of misfortune was bound to draw a being of Greater Divine Power into the conflict.

Though Jiang Hao was also of Greater Divine Power, he was not confident he could defeat a veteran of that rank in the Outer Void, especially with the Lord of Dawn watching him.

But things were different in his Divine Kingdom. With its Rules suppressing intruders, he feared no god short of one wielding Supreme Divine Power.

After a brief rest, he began preparing for something else: resurrecting Ieta Cavendish.

I can stand in for him temporarily, supplying his followers with Divine Power so they can cast Divine Spells.
