Clearwater Plane was a small plane in the Outer Void, close to the Gray Wastes.
It had first been discovered in the Third Era, when the Netherese Empire unified the Main Plane and expanded into the Outer Void. But compared with the higher planes renowned across the Multiverse, Clearwater Plane, a resource-poor little plane, barely drew notice.
It was not until the Lady of Wealth moved her Divine Kingdom there that Clearwater Plane became widely known throughout the Multiverse.
Many believed Clearwater Plane was where the Multiverse's riches gathered. Countless gold coins, gems, and Magic Materials lay there. Anyone who entered Clearwater Plane, even a beggar, could become one of the Main Plane's wealthiest people.
Countless people visited Clearwater Plane, only to discover that the laws of the Divine Kingdom barred entry to anyone who did not worship the Lady of Wealth. The stories about the plane grew stranger still.
As Jiang Hao's Avatar approached Clearwater Plane, a point of dazzling gold light flew out from the planet-like plane. Before him, it took the form of a woman in a robe studded with gemstones and precious-metal sequins, with a cloak of linked gold coins draped over her back.
Her exposed skin was golden, her eyes resembled two orbs of molten gold, and her long, splendid hair shone just as brightly.
The Lady of Wealth certainly looked rich... but that outfit screamed nouveau riche. Was that why nobles would rather worship the Goddess of Nobility or the Tyrant than her? Did they look down on her taste? Jiang Hao made a few snide remarks to himself, then said slowly,
