Just as the Abyss's consciousness was about to swallow the Goddess of Fortune and the Lady of Misfortune together, a flash of light illuminated the entire void.
Dusk turned to daylight. Lightning vanished into the radiance, and the Lord of Dawn single-handedly suppressed a god of Greater Divine Power and one of Intermediate Divine Power.
And as a being who despised evil, the Lord of Dawn naturally turned his power on the Abyss's consciousness, a thing steeped in evil, madness, chaos, and corruption.
Light that pierced all things drove straight through the darkness carrying the Abyss's consciousness. Flames of overwhelming intensity set that chaotic mind ablaze.
With a roar, the Abyss's consciousness, summoned by a Spellcaster who had sacrificed himself, was utterly purified by the Lord of Dawn.
"Good fortune is always with us." The Goddess of Fortune lifted a corner of her sacred robe, bent one long leg, and struck a playful pose.
"But misfortune will certainly be upon you." The Lady of Misfortune pointed at Jiang Hao in Wrath.
The Bottomless Abyss began to shake violently. Every one of its supposedly infinite layers trembled as twisted faces emerged from the depths and roared at the Lord of Dawn from afar.
Driven by the Abyss's consciousness, Demon Lords charged out one after another.
As favored children of the Abyss, the Demon Lords were closely bound to the Abyssal Consciousness. Under its compulsion, they had no choice but to charge into the Outer Void and fight the gods, even if they did not want to leave their own domains.
