Seeing that Jiang Hao agreed with him, James David relaxed a little.
"If your friend only wants to keep his trap hidden from Omniscience, Your Highness, he shouldn't try to pit Concealment against Omniscience. That isn't realistic."

"That's a good idea."
As long as the Lord of Omniscience's awareness was delayed until the trap took effect, it would be as good as hiding it from him.
"This is the only way I can think of to 'hide' something from the Lord of Omniscience," James David said earnestly. "If I become a god, I can set it up for Your Highness, planting false leads across countless Planes to draw the Lord of Omniscience away. But it will take a great deal of divine power."
"Very well," Jiang Hao said with a smile. That had been his plan all along.
As for divine power, he might be short of other things, but he had plenty of that.
As he spoke, Jiang Hao's true form, far away in his Divine Kingdom, drew out the River of Fate and took in James David's futures at a glance. From among countless possibilities, he selected one in which James David ascended to become a True God, compressed that future into information, and sent it down.
James David sensed something flicker above him. Then a stream of information poured into his mind, and scenes from the future
