The Goddess of Capital held up a stack of indistinct banknotes and tossed them into the air.

Banknotes fluttered down everywhere. As their blurred surfaces grew clear, the portraits printed on them changed into pitch-black single eyes.

Then wormlike tendrils emerged from the lumps.

After the lumps squirmed a few times, an eye opened and gazed curiously at the world like a newborn child.

The Goddess of Capital smiled.

"Now a small part of your body and soul has betrayed you. If you cut them away, your power will weaken. You know what happens to the weak in the Bottomless Abyss. But if you leave them, you'll end up like that Two-Headed Baboon, fighting yourself."

"So what will you choose?"
