The sound was so soft and delicate that no one would have taken it for a dog's.
The white Cat looked up, a few crumbs of egg yolk still clinging to her mouth. She stared straight at him, then tilted her head slightly.

Chen Shu told her, "Go on, eat."

"Eat!"
"Okay~"
Peach glanced at him before lowering her head to eat again.

"How good are you at Chinese Chess?"
"Not very good." Chen Shu paused. "When I play people I know, I hardly ever win."
"Then you really aren't very good." The Vice Sect Master picked up a stone and played against his master. "This game will be over soon."
"Okay."
Chen Shu stayed and sat down to watch.
Go was a game of wits. People who played well were certainly clever, but those who played poorly weren't necessarily stupid. Familiarity mattered too.
