He cultivated every day.
When he woke the next day, it was already late October.
The situation in Xixiao had mostly been resolved. At least, Cao Ci's followers at the Fifth and Sixth Tiers or above had been cleared out. Only followers with that kind of destructive power required High-Tier Cultivators to subdue them swiftly before they could resist and, like cornered dogs, leap over the wall and hurt civilians. Ordinary military and police forces could arrest the rest. Things had quieted down lately, with fewer and fewer assignments.
Xixiao was a key area of the Central Continent. With matters there largely settled, the Central Continent was more or less settled too.
Conditions varied across the other continents.
Esoteric Sect cultivators were stationed on the other continents as well. The joint purge of the Dream Moon Cult was less the work of individual countries than an arrangement by the Esoteric Sect's leading figures, so its cultivators were involved everywhere. But their capabilities varied, and without Celestials or support from the Buddhist and Daoist systems, they were less efficient.
The Eastern Continent had only one unified Demon Nation, with power highly centralized, so the purge there had gone smoothly.
The countries of the Northern Continent were quick to act too, and those northern brothers struck hard. Their purge of Cao Ci's followers was cleaner, swifter, and more economical than elsewhere. Chen Shu had heard they had nearly finished off the Dream Moon Cult over there as well.
The Western Continent was more troublesome.
The Blue Nation was powerful, but its authority was fragmented. Its states governed themselves, its population was
