Someone called out to the Four Emperors. They stopped, turned toward the Nine Provinces, and fixed their gazes on the speaker.
They did not recognize him. Apart from being handsome, he seemed utterly unremarkable.
He was not an Emperor they had known before the Immemorial Era, nor did he seem to possess the aura of a King.
"Ant, what do you want?"
The Void Emperor stared at Meng Chuan, divine light blazing in his eyes. An ordinary King's body would have burst apart under that gaze.
But the Void Emperor had noticed something unusual about Meng Chuan. That was the only reason he was willing to exchange a word or two with him.
"Personally, I don't think that's a place you should enter," Meng Chuan said.
"So do me a favor and don't go any farther."
"Stay here. We can chat and have some tea together. Wouldn't that be nice?"
Standing beside Meng Chuan, Xiao Chen thought he was being rather bold.
There were four Emperors across from them.
At his words, the Void Emperor and the others stared coldly at Meng Chuan, killing intent surging from them.
Telling them not to enter the Source Land and to stay here was as good as telling them to die.
Ever since the upheaval before the Immemorial Era, Emperors could no longer remain in the Myriad Heavens and Worlds. If they lingered too long, they would collapse, body and spirit alike.
The four of them were running out of time.
"You mean to stop us? Then die!"
One of the Emperors who had survived in the Void Land reached toward Meng Chuan, sweeping several of the Nine Provinces' experts into the attack as well. He meant to kill them all.
