Yongye used the Heart-Piercing System to gain powerful abilities and provoke the Uchiha, Danzō, and Hiruzen, then fought back when Danzō framed him for attacks on Root and ANBU. After forcing Danzō from his adviser post, Yongye refused a mission and left Asuma crippled after a confrontation at Ichiraku Ramen.

• Yongye tormented Sasuke and Itachi, gained the Clear Sword Heart, and then acquired powerful rewards after provoking Shisui and other Uchiha.
• Yongye sent a disguised Lightning Release Clone to kill Root and ANBU shinobi, leading Danzō and Hiruzen to suspect Kakashi and launch investigations.
• Danzō accused the Uchiha of the killings and demanded a suspect, so Yongye fought Root and ANBU, opened the Seven Gates, and killed Fū.
• Yongye confronted Hiruzen over Danzō’s false accusations, forcing Hiruzen to remove Danzō as Hokage Advisor while Yongye gained more techniques and a Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
• Danzō revived himself with Izanagi and arranged offers to Orochimaru and Madara Uchiha to have Yongye killed, while Hiruzen assigned Yongye to a mission against Kumogakure.
• Yongye refused the mission and went to Ichiraku Ramen, where he exposed Teuchi and Ayame’s attempt to poison him and accepted Asuma’s challenge.
• Yongye used genjutsu to fool Asuma, broke his arms and legs with the Heir-Breaking Kick, ate his ramen, and left as ANBU arrived.

Yongye deepened Konoha’s turmoil while Hiruzen, Danzo, and Fugaku negotiated an operation against the masked Madara. After provoking and defeating Hayate and Yugao, Yongye gained the Byakugan and began investigating what triggered his system’s rewards.

• Yongye defeated Shinnosuke’s ANBU, forced Shinnosuke to apologize over Asuma and Ayame, and secretly marked Shinnosuke before later killing him with a disguised clone.
• Hiruzen and Danzo nearly fought over Shinnosuke’s death, while Yongye gained the Uzumaki Constitution and Four Symbols Seal from their distress.
• Fugaku revealed his Mangekyō Sharingan and Susanoo while repelling an attack, prompting Konoha’s leaders to fear the Uchiha’s strength.
• At a clan meeting, Fugaku chose neutrality in the conflict between Hiruzen and Danzo, while Yongye threatened the elders and left.
• Yongye gained Impure World Reincarnation, rescued Kabuto from Root, and demanded his belongings and five million ryō from Danzo.
• Danzo, Hiruzen, and Fugaku agreed to ambush the masked Madara, and Yongye accepted a hundred million ryō from Danzo for his cooperation.
• Fugaku urged Mikoto to help awaken Itachi’s Mangekyō before the attack, but Mikoto suggested relying on Yongye to protect the Uchiha.

Yongye turned Konoha’s suspicions and the Five Rings Trading Company attack against Hiruzen, forcing him to step down as Hokage. Tsunade became the Fifth Hokage, while Yongye’s confrontation with Kakashi reopened the question of Kakashi’s resentment toward him.

• Yongye acquired the Kusanagi Sword and Lightning Blade, then agreed to work with Obito if he helped recruit Kakashi.
• Yongye used Impure World Reincarnation on Ono Ichiro, accepted compensation from Mechuan Riko, and uncovered the trading company’s scheme with Ayame’s help.
• Yongye used Ash Pile Burning and Five Release: Great Combo Technique to destroy the Five Rings Trading Company’s Konoha branch and make Hiruzen look responsible.
• Yongye stopped Mechuan Riko and Mechuan Steward from fleeing, killed their hired ninja, and persuaded them to demand justice from Hiruzen.
• Yongye backed Mechuan Steward’s accusation before the Hokage Building, then defeated Shisui and exposed his Mangekyo Sharingan during their public fight.
• Hiruzen denied attacking the company but admitted he had failed to find the culprit, stepped down, and left the village to choose a new Hokage.
• Yongye dismissed the succession debate and left, while Tsunade was selected as the Fifth Hokage over Uchiha Fugaku and Shimura Danzō.
• At Ichiraku Ramen, Kakashi challenged Yongye with the Lightning Blade, but Yongye’s taunts made Kakashi abandon the fight and leave in shame.

Uchiha Yongye healed Gekko Hayate, rescued Yakushi Nonō from Danzo’s poison, and used Shisui’s stolen eye as grounds to investigate Root. He destroyed Root and staged a public hearing, where Shisui’s testimony left the case against Danzo uncertain.

• Yongye learned Basic Yin-Yang Release, met Uzuki Yugao, and agreed to heal Gekko Hayate in exchange for her help with his Medical Ninjutsu.
• Yongye restored a kitten’s crushed paw, bargained with Yugao over Hayate’s recovery, and learned that Danzo and Root were threatening Nonō and the orphanage.
• Yongye disrupted Danzo’s attempt to silence Nonō, then healed her poisoning and forced her to serve him.
• Yongye acquired Perfect Senjutsu and confronted Fugaku, Itachi, and the Uchiha elders, who made him Deputy Director so he could lead the investigation into Shisui’s stolen eye.
• Yongye assembled witnesses and confronted Danzo at Root, where his Shadow Clones devastated the base and he captured Danzo.
• Yongye held a public hearing, used the Immobility Technique to keep Danzo in place, and ordered officers to beat and heal him until Danzo submitted.
• Yongye named Danzo, Kakashi, and the Hyuga Clan as suspects and demanded memory interrogations, but Hiruzen arrived with Shisui, who blamed a Masked Man for stealing his eye and causing the Nine-Tails’ Rampage.
• Zhan Zhao and the other Military Police Force members recognized that Shisui was lying to protect Danzo, but Yongye ordered them to stand down.
