The Susanoo giant staggered backward under the force, its heels gouging two deep furrows through the stone slabs. Then it toppled and slammed heavily into the ground.
Its armor shattered and its muscles disintegrated, leaving only the innermost rib cage to hold its shape.
Inside the Susanoo, Shisui grunted.
A thin line of blood seeped from his eye and ran down his cheekbone. He gritted his teeth. The Mangekyo Sharingan in his eyes spun again, and Eye Power surged forth, rebuilding the shattered muscles and armor layer by layer.
Nagato glanced down at his feet. Shinra Tensei's shock wave had pressed a crater more than ten meters wide into the once-level stone floor. Its bottom was smooth, as though it had been rolled flat. Not a single pebble remained.
Compared to his usual Shinra Tensei, its power had more than tripled!
Fusing with Special White Zetsu was the right choice after all!
Pleased with himself, Nagato could not resist proclaiming his ideals.
"So this is the Uchiha's so-called divine power? I am God Pain, and I am leading you down the path to true peace!"

Shisui Uchiha roared, murderous fury surging through him. "Destroying Konoha? What kind of bullshit peace is that?"
The Susanoo giant raised its right arm again. The Spiral Spear solidified in its palm, and it sprang from the ground, charging Nagato once more with nothing left to lose.
At the sight, Nagato laughed inwardly!
In truth, his Rinnegan could absorb more than Ninjutsu. It could absorb Chakra too!
In theory, he could absorb Shisui Uchiha's Chakra Knight Spear—even the entire Susanoo!
He was putting on an act to bait the real threat, Uchiha Yongye, into making the wrong
