Roboute Guilliman sat at his desk, rubbing his brow.
Fine fragments of Psychic Power scattered over his armor and crown like starlight, falling across his lean, composed face, where the flame of reason burned quietly.
Guilliman was pondering something.
The primarch clearly hesitated for a moment before finally choosing to act. He rose and walked toward the Reborn screen behind his study. On the Pride of Macragge, the primarch had specifically installed a Reborn relay hub.
Guilliman placed his hand upon the screen and took a deep breath. Psychic Power passed through it.
Golden light abruptly burst from the screen. After a moment of surprise, Guilliman immediately stepped back and stared at the phantom emerging from the display.
Guilliman paused, then bowed.
Good day, Lord of Humanity.

A voice came from the humanoid figure composed entirely of golden light. The Lord of Humanity was now on Terra, and information could never travel at such speed through the physical world—but Psychic Power could.
