Bibi Dong is the current Pope of Spirit Hall and Qian Daoliu’s daughter-in-law in name. Her predecessor, Qian Xunji, was publicly believed to have been killed by Tang Hao. Her private thoughts reveal that she actually killed Qian Xunji herself—a fact she refuses to admit when Tang Hao hints that he knows the truth 25.
Her authority does not encompass every powerful faction within Spirit Hall. Yan Zheng warns Tang Hao that other figures also want information about his return, and he can only partly guarantee that Spirit Hall will leave Tang San’s academy alone 24 25.
