Background / History

Qin Ming graduated from Shrek Academy, where he had been regarded—and regarded himself—as a “monster.” His later encounter with Huo Linfei makes him reconsider that distinction: he concludes that Huo’s talent, physique, and combat experience make the boy the real thing 22.

By Huo Linfei’s enrollment, Qin Ming teaches the Heaven Ultimate Class at Heaven Dou Royal Academy. The academy committee places Huo in his care with Xue Qinghe’s backing. Although the assignment puts him under considerable pressure, Qin Ming considers teaching such an exceptional student a rare opportunity 17.
