Long Yuan originally came from Blue Star. An accident transported him to Douluo Continent ten thousand years after the era of the original Shrek Seven Devils. There, he awakened the Rainbow Dragon Martial Soul, reached the peak of the God King Realm, and married Gu Yuena. Their marriage remained deeply affectionate over many years 1.

After becoming leader of the Holy Spirit Cult, he dismantled its practices of harming innocents.
