"When did it start..." Hesta murmured softly.

Simoya frowned. Hesta's incoherent reaction struck her as both ridiculous and contemptible. She turned to leave, but Hesta caught her by the arm.

"What are you doing?" Simoya glared at Hesta. "Let go—"

"When did you start finding me so annoying?" Hesta looked at her. "At first, you did think I was troublesome and wouldn't listen to reason, that's true. But it didn't seem to be this bad, did it? Did I do something that made you hate me that much... or something that made Kendall hate me that much?"

Simoya shook off Hesta's hand. "Do you think everyone's loves and hates in this world ultimately come down to personal grudges? How shallow!"
