Hesta walked over to the mirror. The hat was very thick, knitted from heavy yarn with a layer of gray fleece inside. She had only worn it indoors for a little while, yet her head was already starting to feel hot.

"Wonderful." Hesta took off the hat. "I was planning to buy winter clothes next week. Now I can save on a hat, gloves, and scarf."

Hesta held the hat in her hands and examined it. It was the first time she had received something someone had knitted by hand. Holding up the two little bear ears at its top, she felt an unusual kind of joy.

Miaomiao ran two circles around Hesta. When she failed to snatch the winter hat, she turned and hugged Xu Ruyi's leg, loudly clamoring, "I want one too, I want one too!" Xu Ruyi went back into the room and brought out Miaomiao's set as well.

Miaomiao's winter set even had an extra pair of wool socks compared to Hesta's. She immediately dug them out and put them on. Within minutes, her face was flushed bright red from the heat, until Ding Xueyang came downstairs again and helped take everything off her.
