Xu Ruyi was about to say something when Ding Xueyang tugged at her hand again.
"Let's try another hospital."
After an unbearable silence, Xu Ruyi let out a breath as though waking from another dream. "All right, all right... Let's try another one."
She went to a corner of the room and hoisted the luggage she had packed onto her back again, but soon put all the bags down.
"Do we need to handle the discharge paperwork first...?"
"I'll help you," a nurse said. "Give me the medical records and health cards."
Twenty minutes later, Xu Ruyi and Ding Xueyang took the elevator downstairs.

When they reached the lobby, they found a place to sort through the receipts and test reports from the past two days.
