The car took everyone to the foot of the mountain.

Their accommodations were halfway up the mountain. After more than twenty people had walked the mountain path for a while, Lin Jiao called Hesta over to help carry some of the heavy equipment.

Several of them chatted as they walked at the back of the group, but Hesta hardly spoke to anyone along the way.

"Are you okay?" Lin Jiao asked, glancing sideways at her.

Hesta gave a laugh. "How much farther?"

"It's still quite a ways," Lin Jiao replied. "It'll probably take around half an hour on foot."

Hesta looked up at the mountain trail, suddenly recalling many moments from the last time she had climbed a mountain.

"Let's go." Hesta adjusted her grip on the heavy object. "Let's pick up the pace."

By the time they reached the inn, it was already eleven at night. Everyone went to the dining hall for a late-night snack while listening to Lin Jiao explain the next day's itinerary.

With the experience of their previous trip to the farmstead, they worked together more smoothly this time. Everyone quickly put away their luggage, and they were to gather in the courtyard at a quarter past six the next morning before heading to the mountaintop to watch the sunrise.
