Lu Yi had never imagined a career task could be completed so easily. All he had done was think about God King Tang's schemes and plan to avoid them, and somehow the task was done.
He turned to the reward the career task had granted.
[Diviner task reward: Divination Crystal Ball] [Divination Crystal Ball: Foresee a future event and display a glimpse of it; or picture a person in your mind to observe the course of their fate after a specified period] (Note: If someone who observes the future participates in the relevant event in any way, it will have an unpredictable effect on the prophecy's outcome) (Note: The Divination Crystal Ball cannot be used again until the predicted event's time has passed. This period is at least one day) (Note: The fates of a very small number of people cannot be glimpsed. If the variables in a person's fate exceed a certain limit, their future cannot be predicted either)
Lu Yi stared at the reward in astonishment. Something that could directly predict the future actually existed.
There were, however, quite a few restrictions on its use.
Participating in an event would interfere with the prediction, for example. That made sense.
But it also meant predictions involving people close to him would almost never come true. And unpredictability meant things could take a turn for the worse.
The Divination Crystal Ball could not be used without limit, either. If he predicted something ten days away, it would be an ordinary crystal ball for those ten days. He could only use it again after the event was over.
Finally, some people's fates contained too many variables to be glimpsed at all.
In other words, the ball would be accurate only if he predicted the future of someone almost entirely
