Background and History

Lu Yi was a second-year Ravenclaw traveling to Hogwarts by Floo Powder when he vanished and woke near the Star Dou Great Forest. He killed a Wind Baboon attacking Huo Yuhao with Diffindo, then collapsed from the effort. After Bei Bei and Tang Ya found the boys, Lu Yi realized he had entered the world of a novel he had read. His Magic Library remained accessible, and his Wand had fused with his body. With no home in Douluo, he accepted Bei Bei’s help in hunting a Soul Ring 1.

Bei Bei taught him the Basic Meditation Method, revealing that Lu Yi had reached the level-ten bottleneck without ever cultivating by a Soul Master method. Zhang Lexuan later arranged his admission to Shrek Academy after noticing his unusual abilities and rapid progress 2 4.

At Shrek, Lu Yi combined spell study with cultivation, physical training and research. He and teammates Zhou Sichen and Cao Jinxuan won the freshman assessment through coordinated, largely nonlethal tactics. His ability to read ancient writing subsequently led to paid translation work with teacher Wang Yan 65 69.

Lu Yi later set out to spread magic rather than keep it as a private inheritance. He founded the Ministry of Magic, taught compatible students with individually selected Wands, and worked on Soul Spirits and the infrastructure needed to provide them. Lu Yi is practical about both danger and opportunity. Soon after arriving in Douluo, he concentrates on surviving rather than dwelling on how he crossed worlds. He plans around limited money and time, studies unfamiliar opponents, and avoids wagers or factional commitments he sees as needless risks 1 26 83 86 121.

In combat, he favors counters, concealment and disabling an opponent’s key ability over a direct contest of strength. He is willing to fight decisively, but often limits injury and treats rivalry as separate from personal enmity: he heals Xiao Hongchen after defeating him and explains that they need not be enemies 43 58 223 224.
