Background / History
Origin and Seclusion
The Silver Dragon King was created when the Dragon God was split, inheriting his elemental powers and wisdom. After returning to Douluo Continent, she concealed herself beneath the Lake of Life to recover from her injuries. Di Tian guarded her and regarded her eventual awakening as the Soul Beast Clan’s hope for revival 2 6 20.
The Sky Curtain recounts that she once considered killing Huo Yuhao, but spared him because he showed no hostility. Her unhealed wounds nevertheless left Di Tian worried that intervention from the Divine Realm could endanger her 20.
Revealed Future: Na’er and Gu Yue
Ten thousand years later, she seals her power and memories and enters human society as Na’er, intending to understand humanity. Tang Wulin’s adoptive parents take her in, giving her a happy childhood before a Soul Beast organization retrieves her and she learns her true mission 20.
Unable to reconcile her attachment to Wulin with her responsibilities, she separates Na’er into an independent being. Her main body becomes Gu Yue, retaining seventy percent of her power and leadership over the Soul Beasts. Na’er wagers that she will return to the main body if Wulin eventually chooses Gu Yue 20.
Gu Yue studies and competes alongside Wulin, but repeatedly hesitates to kill him despite the opportunity to regain Dragon God power. After his confession at the Sea God’s Fate Matchmaking Conference, Gu Yue and Na’er merge. She later leaves him to pursue her mission and keep her followers from harming him; during Shrek’s destruction, she protects him, suffers injuries, and loses her memories 20.
The revealed future eventually places her at the head of the Spirit Pagoda. Despite gaining the upper hand in her struggle, she arranges for Wulin to kill her with the Golden Dragon Spear. He dies beside her, and she is revealed to be carrying his child. Their deaths secure peace between humans and Soul Beasts 21.

Personality
The Master treats the Soul Beast Clan’s survival as her responsibility. She refuses Di Tian’s offer to enter the Lygus challenge in her place, choosing to risk her own injured condition while leaving him to fulfill his duties at home 37.
Her confidence becomes more cautious as she learns about the Aeon universe. Phainon’s resistance inspires her, while defeat against Lygus teaches her to prioritize information and diplomacy over immediate conquest 35 40.
She also becomes willing to acknowledge her failures. After seeing Di Tian’s tragic future, she accepts that she bears part of the blame as his Master and promises that those events will not happen again 53.
