Kong Deming frowned slightly at that, but he was not particularly surprised.

The Body Sect's decision to join the Sun Moon Empire had not been announced publicly, but its enormous compound stood not far from Mingde Hall. Unless Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao were blind, they could hardly have missed it. With the entire Body Sect appearing in Mingdu, and considering certain recent events, it was not hard to deduce that Xu Tiance had awakened a Body Martial Soul.

A wary look entered Du Busi's eyes.

Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao... What exactly are these two trying to do?

Though she received no answer, Ye Xishui was not annoyed. She merely asked softly, "Would you be interested in becoming my disciple?"

There was one thing Ye Xishui might have gotten wrong, however. Xu Tianran had chosen to cooperate with the Holy Spirit Cult because the Sun Moon Empire genuinely lacked powerful Soul Masters and needed the cult's help to secure his position. Xu Tiance had no such problem.

With Kong Deming backing him, his position as Crown Prince was as secure as could be. And with the Body Sect on their side, the Sun Moon Empire was no longer particularly short of powerful Soul Masters.

The Body Sect was not as strong as the Holy Spirit Cult, and it lagged a little further behind Shrek Academy. Even so, aside from Du Busi, it had nine fighters of Titled Douluo caliber.

Once they swept through the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well in the future, the Body Sect's overall strength would naturally rise considerably. The most important thing, of course, was to help Du Busi reach the Limit Douluo realm and Kong Deming become a level ninety-five Super Douluo.
