Relaxing

After checking into a hotel, the two of them slept soundly.

The next morning, Tang Chen took Ning Zi out to try a breakfast specialty of the Star Luo Empire.

Tang Chen found a fairly authentic restaurant by the street.

Once inside, Tang Chen ordered two Crescent Cakes, two bowls of Golden Dragon Soup, and a hundred portions of the house specialty stew.

The two Crescent Cakes arrived first.

Tang Chen picked up a piece of Crescent Cake, placed it in front of Ning Zi, and said to her,

"Xiao Zi, try this."

Seeing Tang Chen serve her food, Ning Zi beamed with happiness and took a bite.

"It's delicious! You should try it too, Brother Chen."

Tang Chen picked up a piece as well.

"It really is good."

They tried the Golden Dragon Soup next. Despite its name, it was actually yellow croaker soup.

It tasted good too.

After finishing their meal, they went shopping again and bought all sorts of things.

While Tang Chen and Ning Zi were browsing, a crowd of ordinary townsfolk surged toward the morning market.

"Hey, the Soul Beast meat at this stall is fresh. Let's buy from them!"

"This stall looks good too. Boss, if I buy a pound of Red Bull meat, how about throwing in half a pound of offal?"

"These Red Bull bones look great! Give me two pounds. I'll make soup for my dear grandson!"

The sight piqued Tang Chen's interest. "Xiao Zi, shall we go take a look?"

Ning Zi nodded. "Whatever you say, Brother Chen."

Arm in arm, they went for a stroll through the morning market.

After a few days of exploring, Tang Chen and Ning Zi had relaxed enough. It was time to resume their Divine Trials.

Feeling refreshed, they left Emperor Soul City
