Lin Hao stood on the official road in the distance, gazing at the enormous city that had appeared ahead of him. He could not help but marvel.

Its towering walls rose majestically, their massive presence imposing even from afar.

"Impressive, isn't it?" Tie Lei walked up beside Lin Hao and said softly, "I felt the same way when I first came to Heaven Dou City."

"It really is breathtaking!"

Lin Hao nodded. In both his past life and this one, he had never seen an ancient city with a population of a million.

"Young master, our people have been investigating for three days, but they haven't found anything about Lin Hao's background. It's as though he appeared out of thin air." Uncle Lin looked troubled.

"How is that possible?"

Yu Feng clearly did not believe him. Anger edged his voice.

"Use every connection we have. Keep looking. I refuse to believe he left no trace."

"Unless he isn't from the Heaven Dou Empire."

The guard hesitated. Whatever faction Lin Hao came from, he was young and already strong enough to kill a Soul King. His talent left Yu Feng so far behind there was no telling how many streets lay between them.

Everything pointed to a powerful faction behind Lin Hao. Offending him rashly would hardly be wise.

But Yu Feng had let "love" go to his head and had lost some of his basic judgment.

What could a servant like him do? He could only obey orders.

They entered Heaven Dou City.

Pedestrians and carriages flowed endlessly through the streets. Vast Sea City could not compare with its prosperity.

With the Ye Family name to smooth their way, the convoy soon passed inspection.

Lin Hao hopped down from the cargo carriage, ready to say goodbye to Ye Lingling, Tie Lei, and the others.

Ahead stood a heavily guarded hall. Its defenses surpassed those of an ordinary hall; every guard was a three-ring Soul Elder.

This was where the Treasury of the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace stood.

"Those guards might stop someone else, but they won't stop me."

"When you're making your way through the Soul Master World, the more skills you have, the better. The ancients weren't lying."

Lin Hao took several things from his Soul Tool and worked with them for a moment. Colorless, invisible smoke drifted toward the distant guards.

Lin Hao sauntered up to the Treasury entrance. The mechanism on its door posed no difficulty for him either.

Three brocade boxes covered with red cloth sat atop it.

He summoned the Sea God Trident. At once, a blue triangular object flew into the air.

It hovered before Lin Hao, radiating gentle waves of blue light.

Lin Hao had seen the Sea God Trident planted in the Sea God Hall. A piece was missing from its head, and the shape of that gap matched the Sea God's Heart before him.

But his Martial Soul, the Sea God Trident, was complete.

The Sea God's Heart hovered in midair for a long while, then plunged toward Lin Hao's Sea God Trident.

Bang! As though it had struck a solid wall, the Sea God's Heart bounced off the Sea God Trident.

Lin Hao could actually sense confusion from the Sea God's Heart.

Then faint blue light drifted out of it, gathering into the phantom of a very old man.
