After the deputy left, Ge Long looked across the armies toward the Sea God Empire's formation. There sat a figure whose presence was as keen as an unsheathed blade.

A terrifying aura held every expert above the Soul Saint level in the Heaven Dou Empire's army firmly in its grasp.

If any of them entered the battlefield, they would face that figure's furious assault.

Ge Long knew who it was: one of the Sea God Empire's seven generals, a Titled Douluo.

Unwillingness flashed in his eyes. They had left more than ten thousand corpses behind without advancing the line at all. What reckoning awaited him when he returned?

The Heaven Dou Empire withdrew. Its troops retreated to the fortress to await Xue Ye's next order.

At the same time, matters were much the same on the Star Luo front. The Star Luo Empire's army could not break through the Sea God Empire's forces led by Sea Dragon Douluo.

They, too, retreated into the city to await the Star Luo Emperor's next order.

Just then, two figures arrived outside Star Luo City.

All the more so now that the Star Luo Empire was at war with the Sea God Empire, with word that the fighting at the front was going badly.

Bo Saixi ignored his jest. She merely raised her head a little and swept a calm glance over the guards standing ready.

In a flash, she appeared above the walls of Star Luo City. Then Bo Saixi brought her arms together as though embracing something.

In an instant, water vapor swept out from her and expanded rapidly around her body.

"Fire!"

The guards on the wall stared, dumbstruck. Their commander was the first to give the order.

Countless guards drew their bows, ready to shoot Bo Saixi down.

But swift as they were, Bo Saixi was no slower. As her arms shook, the blue light spreading from her grew exponentially brighter.

A vast vortex appeared in midair.

A terrifying pull seized the area around Star Luo City. The arrows they fired were drawn into the sky before they could get anywhere near Bo Saixi.

Worse, some of the guards on the wall were swept into the air as well. Amid their cries, they flew helplessly upward.

"Who dares cause trouble in my Star Luo City?"

The commotion on Star Luo City's walls was so great that it instantly drew the attention of the city's powerful experts.

With many of them dispatched to the front, the first to strike was none other than the Star Luo Emperor, Dai Tianfeng.

A massive white tiger came roaring from the direction of the palace and lunged toward the city gate.
