Key events
- Radiant Tiger Douluo’s surprise attack pierces Huang Tieyi, but misses his heart because Huang’s organs are reversed. Huang cripples the attacker’s arm with the Six Meridian Divine Sword.
- While Huang appears to collapse, Radiant Tiger Douluo tries to finish him in Martial Soul Avatar form. Huang wakes, uses the Great Art of Energy Absorption to drain the Douluo’s Soul Power, and heals himself by taking in the tiger’s healing energy. He expands his capacity with his Super Saiyan skills, then leaves Radiant Tiger Douluo drained and dying.
- White-Crowned Eagle Douluo attacks Qian Xunji from behind while Qian Xunji is dueling Qian Daoheng. Qian Daoheng’s Sword of Judgment wounds Qian Xunji, but Huang kills the eagle Douluo with another strike of the Six Meridian Divine Sword.
- Qian Xunji turns the fight around and mortally wounds Qian Daoheng with a dagger. Qian Daoheng admits that their shared origin makes his Soul Skill ineffective against Qian Xunji, while Qian Xunji explains that the dagger was the decisive choice.
- Qian Daoliu arrives, kills Qian Daoheng, then executes three other conspirators. He confronts Huang about using an Evil Soul Master technique. Huang admits he learned it while hunting Evil Soul Masters, and Qian Daoliu warns that it is costing him his life.
