• Huo Yuhao left the Adventurers' Guild with Red Moon Bro and the others, who found the old courtyard clean and apparently still cared for.
• Zhang Lexuan returned to the courtyard, recalled Mu En's decree that she remain at Shrek and marry his great-grandson, and wondered what had become of the boys.
• Huo Yuhao obtained freshman dormitory keys from Mu En, and Red Moon Bro's group moved into their assigned rooms.
• Bro Xingchen used his Martial Soul wings to clear the dust from a dorm room, then lay down to rest.

Huo Yuhao resisted Wang Dong’s attempt to impose humiliating dorm rules and defeated him in a fight using a copied Wingblade. The chapter ended with Huo Yuhao pinning Wang Dong’s wrist and demanding to know whether he still intended to treat him like a slave.

The Xuanming Sect’s grand elder revealed himself as an eighty-ninth-level Soul Douluo, and Yan Shaozhe recognized the extent of his cruelty.

• In Dottore’s laboratory, Owl Bro discussed the operation and Dottore confiscated his tobacco because of his failing health.
• On the train to Tianxuan City, Jiang Hao reviewed the plan to raid the Xuanming Sect’s trading houses and lead a team to block its gates.
• Ma Xiaotao and the others reached the sect, where Ma announced her challenge, knocked down the signboard, and tore the stone gate from the ground.
• Ma Xiaotao killed two outer-sect steward disciples who attacked her with Xuanming Turtle Martial Souls and pushed into the sect’s square.
• Seven Soul Douluo appeared, and the Xuanming Sect’s level-eighty-nine grand elder introduced himself while his baleful aura revealed his use of women’s deaths in cultivation.
